MOSKIM YE T-SHIRT

Introducing MOSKIM YE, a tribute tee that honors the legacy of the Lenape (Delaware) Nation while reimagining one of today’s most influential figures—Ye—as a Lenape chief. “Moskim,” meaning “shapeshifter” in Lenape tradition, represents transformation, resilience and Indigenous survival. On the front, this fictional alternate history envisions Ye had colonization never happened, embodying the strength, brilliance and boldness of Lenape leadership. The back of the tee features a mock ad for LENAPE PROUD INDIAN Blacktop Pavement Co., complete with bold fonts, roadwork motifs, a 302-area code phone number and a clean call to action—“Keepers of the Path” creative nod to the Lenape’s sacred role as “Keepers of the Path.” The tagline ties directly to their spiritual responsibility and generational endurance, turning a construction company into a cultural metaphor. This shirt isn’t just style—it’s storytelling.

🗣️ WHY IT MATTERS

Reimagines history from an Indigenous Black American perspective. Educates through design—referencing Lenape language, geography and culture. Connects ancient tradition with modern infrastructure and path-making. Blends art, identity and what-ifs to celebrate what was and could have been. “Keepers of the Path” isn’t just a motto—it’s a mission. MOSKIM YE reminds us to walk boldly, build truthfully and remember who cleared the road before us.
